Flash fiction is the art of telling a story in 1000 words or less which has a clear beginning middle and end. Of necessity, it must be succinct and words are at a premium. I began writing flash fiction in response to prompts from the Bare Books Podcast and quickly grew to love the discipline. Now, with my eyesight compromised, flash fiction is a way for me to indulge my passion for writing with less omputer time.
